Celebrating 20 Years! Special Offer of Gratitude...I feel so honored to have been on this journey of exploration, acceptance and connection that has been both personal and professional
for 20 years now. What a blessing to have walked this path with so many of you. Deep thanks for all you have shared with me

I continue to offer my hot stone massage and facials and waxing and I also am
now offering body-mind integration sessions. See the blog postings before this one for descriptions of my new work. It takes
us to wondrous places!
For all of 2012, I am offering each client $20 off with the purchase of $60 or more in any
of the services I provide as a gift of appreciation and gratitude. This offer can be used only once, but please do tell your

Now offering Body Journeys Sessions!Connect with the loving wisdom of your body for a more peaceful and satisfying life...
Last August I completed
the 2-year META (Mindful Experiential Therapy Approaches) training which combines training in the Hakomi Method of body-centered
counseling; Recreation of Self, which helps us choose and stabilize expansive, loving states; and tools for recovering from
trauma and attachment difficulties.
I have developed my own synthesis of this work with the touch therapies, spiritual
counseling and energy work I've been offering for 20 years. I call this blend Body Journeys.

Every Body Deserves to MoveRecently I was at an ecstatic dance and I saw a young girl there, about 10. I found myself taking great delight in her enjoyment
of expressing herself through movement. She twirled, and stomped, sashayed, and growled with a sometimes shy and sometimes
bold manner. I later noticed that she had a body that most people would describe as plump or round, and that didn't make her
any less wonderful. I've been feeling some self-consciousness about my own recent weight gain, and being able to appreciate
her as she is led me to ask myself some important questions. Does being larger or smaller, plumper or leaner make me any more
worthy of dancing and moving? Is my own fear of being judged by others something I should let stop me from enjoying myself?
Do I want to welcome people of all shapes to explore conscious movement and dance?

Self-care in the Midst of Holiday HustleI'm sitting here thinking about all the holiday-related stuff I have to do...gift buying and wrapping, food preparation
for everyday and special occasions...you know! And in the face of this, I feel hesistant to make some time for yoga and walking
today. I know the stretching, breathing, and fresh air will help me to focus better and enjoy the rest of my day more. But
the "doer" parts of me sometimes don't remember how to slow down once I get going. But even 30 minutes will help
me to feel so much more fresh and engaged and available. Okay, that sounds great...here I go!
